Sophomore Brian Cropp, from left, Charlee Magno, and freshmen Chelsea Leingang, and Lilli Barlow prepare to perform in the final showing of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'The Sound of Music' at Ballard High School Sunday, March 10, 2013. The sing-a-long production, put on by the Ballard High School Playmakers, sold out almost every show. "It's been bonkers," said Shawn Riley, director of theatre at Ballard High School. Sunday's performance also raised funds to send 30 Ballard High School students to perform at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, one of the largest arts festivals in the world. Ballard High School was one of only 40 American High Schools invited to perform at the festival, said Riley.
