Calen Garcia sails on his skateboard above a rail at the Garage, a new indoor skateboarding venue in downtown Everett. The Garage, built in a 3,500-square-foot space formerly used as a garage, is a business conceived and operated by Jordan Sanchez, an elite amateur skater sponsored by two board companies. He and his wife, Anah, launched a fundraising drive for the skatepark and raised more than $15,000 in a month. The site features ramps, rails and ledges that emulate the conditions skateboarders look for in the real world.
