Year of the Snake Lunar New Year celebrants cover their ears as hundreds of firecrackers are set off outside a restaurant in Chinatown Saturday by the Mak Fai Kung Fu Club bringing their lion dancers and good luck to businesses and the International District.

To start off the Year of The Snake celebration in the International District Saturday, this string of firecrackers was set off at the corner of S. King Street and Maynard Avenue South.
