Kelsey Newell likes the fit of this "mermaid" wedding dress with a ruffled bottom she found Saturday at the annual Seattle Wedding Show at the Washington State Convention Center. A passerby called it "sassy." Newell, who will be married in October, spent $699 on the dress, having tried on six. More than 3,000 brides (and 8,000 people in all) are expected to attend the show, where frequently discounts are to be had for bookings and sales at the event. The show continues Sunday.

The photo booth is silly fun for Sasha Bolander, left, and her sister Sarah. The all-digital booth produces a strip of photos in seconds and rents for $900-1,000 for weddings, depending on options.

This "fit 'n' flare" dress should fit like a glove. It has a long train that is tied into a bustle so the bride can dance on her wedding day.
