KEN LAMBERT / THE SEATTLE TIMES
The sun pokes out, a seagull flies by, and a Coast Guard boat appears, all as the Olympic Mountains fill in the background behind "Schubert Sonata," a 1992 steel work by artist Mark di Suvero, Fri. Dec. 28, 2012, in Seattle. The art, which stands on a single point and can spin, is part of Seattle Art Museum's permanent collection at the Olympic Sculpture Park.
