Benjamin Joaquin embraces his son, Benai Joaquin, 14, after he participated in a formal presentation to the temple at La Luz Del Mundo church on Rainier Avenue South in Seattle, Sunday November 4, 2012. La Luz Del Mundo is a Christian denomination that originated in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in 1926, and the presentation to the church at age 14 is a tradition of the faith, like a baptism. "I feel so happy," said Benjamin Joaquin about his son's decision to commit to the church. "Instead of things like drugs or bad habits, he decides to be here. For me, it's a blessing of God." Joaquin's other two sons are ministers.
