As Veterans for Peace march by in the street, members of the White Center Fraternal Order of Eagles watch the annual parade wearing their signature flag skirts Saturday in Auburn. The parade is billed as the largest west of the Mississippi for vets.

Veterans for Peace were able to march Saturday after a court injunction was issued allowing them to participate with the help of the ACLU.

World War I doughboys were represented by members of American Legion Post #138 in University Place in the annual Veterans Day Parade in Auburn, billed as the largest veteran parade west of the Mississippi. Some had authentic uniforms of the era, all wool with no synthetics.
