As the sun broke out in the west behind the Space Needle with rain in front of it, a rainbow formed north of the city over I-5 as dramatic clouds gathered in the sky. The rainbow to the right of this frame grew in intensity as the lens was stopped down to an even smaller aperture caused as much by the lens as the weather, the equivalent of 160mm.
