Seattle Times photographer Erika Schultz found Picture This treasure when John Souza and Kelci Erne married on International Talk Like a Pirate Day at Greenwood Square Wednesday.

Schultz was in Greenwood for another assignment when she noticed there were a lot of pirates around Greenwood Square.

The newlyweds did not have an official wedding photographer, so these images are also their treasure.

Sallie Nield, mother of the groom, left front, and Shirley Blackford, mother of the bride, right front, applaud during the wedding of John Souza and Kelci Erne. Blackford said at first she was unsure of the themed wedding. "What does the mother of a pirate bride wear?" she asked. However, Blackford enjoyed the festive nature of the wedding.
