Underwater with lilies at the Washington Park Arboretum

The flower of a white water lily pokes up through the water at the Washington Park Arboretum as a honeybee comes in for a landing. The lily is surrounded by pads that are starting to turn color in the fall sunlight. The Seattle area was a toasty 90 degrees Friday, but with rain likely Sunday, the 1951 record dry spell of 51 days will likely not be broken.
This was photographed underwater using a GoPro camera mounted on a monopod.
