Combustible Materials hosts introductory fire dancing classes for curious flame throwers with little or no background with the art. The class familiarizes students with the terminology, tools, and basic skills needed for the dance. The instructors are currently collaborating on a fire show for the regional burning man event, Critical Massive. They are also available to host private fire performances, classes, and parties. While fire dancing might seem dangerous, a Seattle-based company called Combustible Materials is trying to make playing with fire safe and accessible to the public. Combustible Materials holds classes to teach safety with entry-level fire dancing.
