Barker was canvassing with The Washington Bus, a local group trying to make politics fun and engaging for young voters. LoveFest, held Saturday and Sunday, featured performances by local and national bands, a food and craft fair, and a dance competition earlier in the morning. After being held in Fremont the the last two years, Lovefest was held in Magnuson Park for the first time this year.
