Then & Now: The Seattle Times building at 1120 John St. as seen in 1930 and today


In over 80 years, some things have changed, some things haven't, as exemplified by the two photos of the former Seattle Times building below.


THE SEATTLE TIMES FILE

A file photo circa 1930 shows the land in front of The Seattle Times building being plowed. The Times moved from its location in downtown Seattle at Stewart Street and Fifth Avenue, to the building shown located at Fairview Avenue North and John Street in 1931.
