A Hindu marriage ceremony of deity Lord Balaji with consorts Padmavati and Budhevi was performed Saturday in Renton during an event organized by the Vedic Cultural Center in Sammamish. Priests, including some visiting from India, attended. According to the Vedic Cultural Center, this was the first time the Hindu ceremony has ever been performed in Seattle. In the crowded hall, a member of the audience was helped up the center aisle to pay her respects during the Hindu marriage ceremony of deity Lord Balaji with consorts Padmavati and Budhevi.

The marriage of deity Lord Balaji was conducted on an altar brought from India for the ceremony organized by Vedic Cultural Center in a hall in Renton Saturday. Some priests, including the one leading the ceremony, also came from India.

Priest Paramkusam Sridhar led the ceremony of the marriage of deity Lord Balaji with Padmavati and. Budhevi. He will be traveling with other priests to several other cities to perform this ceremony.
