Luis, a seventh grader, checks out Jon Lester's World Series Championship ring Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at the Hutch School in Seattle. Lester a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and winner of the 2008 Hutch Award, was on hand with Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver. The two spent the morning with students, parents and teachers. Lester, a cancer survivor himself, graduated from Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma. Seaver's daughter, as a young girl, fought cancer and is now raising her own family.
