Mike Lovell surveys the damage to Mike Nichols' garage in November 2006. The river, now lapping outside the garage doors, left this Toyota Land Cruiser and a puck-up truck balanced on the edge of the water. The house used to be 70 feet from the river before flood waters consumed the house.
