Fire destroys farm workers housing

From left to right, Pablo Temoxtle, Christian Pineda, Flavio Trejo and Sofoniase Baldovinos search for jewelry, they'd been saving as presents for their families back in Mexico, in the rubble of a cabin destroyed by the Carlton Complex fire outside of Brewster, on July 21, 2014. The Carlton Complex fire has so far claimed more than 150 homes in Central Washington, authorities say. Here on King Blossom orchard, located on the rural outskirts of Brewster, the fire destroyed two structures, displacing a total of 50 workers. Many lost nearly everything they owned. Until they can rebuild, the laborers are living in an encampment of tents on the orchard property, adjacent to the twisted metal and rubble that were once their homes.
