Anti-government protesters waves Thai flags during a rally against a controversial Amnesty bill that passed in Parliament last week on November 4, 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand. Thousands attended various protests around the capitol city organised by the opposition Democrat Party. If the law goes into effect protestors fear it could whitewash all crimes for which the billionaire former leader Thaksin Shinawatra was convicted, setting the stage for him to return to Thailand.
