Stephen Price, left, and Josh Farris helped put up an installation of more than 1,000 houses and signs with members of SAFE (Standing Against Foreclosure & Eviction) Saturday on Beacon Avenue South north of Graham Street to draw attention to the families who have lost homes to foreclosure and bank evictions. The memorial is also a call to action to stop banks from evicting families from their homes , said Price. Their organization said there have been 9,900 Seattle homes that have been auctioned or now owned by banks.
