Russia's President Vladimir Putin walks in the Kremlin in Moscow, on June 12, 2012, during an awarding ceremony marking the patriotic Russia Day holiday to celebrate the country's 1990 declaration of independence from Soviet rule. Russian protesters galvanized by raids on the homes of their leaders joined today a march against President Vladimir Putin despite the threat of fines the size of their annual pay.
