A Sound Transit light-rail train enters University Street Station in the downtown bus tunnel. The Link light-rail line from Westlake in downtown Seattle to Tukwila is scheduled to open July 18. By the end of the year, the line will stop near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, for a total 16 miles, and a cost of $2.6 billion.
