A badly injured Palestinian youth is helped after being shot by Israeli troops, during clashes in the main square of the West Bank town of Ramallah, Wednesday. Fierce gunbattles between Israeli troops and Palestinians in the heart of the West Bank city left two Palestinians dead and 30 wounded, Palestinian officials said. The clashes erupted when troops entered the city to arrest wanted militants and were attacked by militants and rock-throwing Palestinians, Palestinian security officials and the army said.
