Israeli soldiers stand guard in Rosh Hanikra, Israel near the border between northern Israel and Lebanon, Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Israel's army said Monday its troops shot two Lebanese soldiers, hours after a Lebanese army sniper killed an Israeli soldier as he drove along the border. The initial Lebanese shooting late Sunday and the Israeli retaliatory fire early Monday, both near Rosh Hanikra, raised the possibility of renewed fighting in the volatile area, which has remained mostly quiet since a month-long war in the summer of 2006.
