US Weather

A stranded motorist waits for the fire company ladder to be lowered to him off Pleasure Road near the Deerford development, Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 in Lancaster, Pa. A series of storms moving through Pennsylvania brought flooding that closed some roadways and prompted many schools to dismiss classes early. Much of eastern Pennsylvania is under flood warnings as storms could bring as much as six inches of rain before leaving the area on Friday. The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch Thursday for counties stretching from Philadelphia west to York and north to Allentown.
