Lauren Bowman, left front, works to maintain her balance as she and Bri Murray get a demonstration ride on a Supsquatch, a super-sized paddle board, from Ted Keys (in red) and Charlie Crocker. The 4th Annual Northwest Paddling Festival, a two-day event of paddle sports for sea kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is held at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. Organizers say it's the largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest and continues Saturday. The Supsquatch costs a little more than $3,500.
