Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro holds student workshop

Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro plays "This Land is Your Land" with dozens of students from Sunny Hills Elementary, including 4th graders Ellie Lindley, Natalie Anderson, and Mia Rogers during a free ukulele workshop for students of all ages and skill levels at Issaquah High School's theater on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Shimabukuro, a YouTube star who has been dubbed a "hero" by Rolling Stone and has played for the Queen of England, is conducting free workshops to promote music education during the day as he performs concerts across the country at night. Though much of the workshop focused on ukulele tips and performance, Shimabukuro said he wants to inspire people to find their creative passion, whatever form that may take.
