Spring egg hunt at Cal Anderson Park

Caleb Davis checks the frog toy Terry Calloway III found in his plastic egg at the annual event in Cal Anderson Park on Saturday. Seattle Parks & Recreation hosted it and the Daughters of Elks brought volunteer help. The city calls it a spring egg hunt now, formerly an Easter egg hunt. In a nod to recycling, the plastic eggs are not kept, only the contents, and the eggs will be reused next year. Helping is Caleb's God mother and Terry's grand mother, Teresa Williams, at right.
