Model sailboat racing in South Lake Union

It's competitive and serious racing almost every other Saturday as members of the Pacific Northwest Model Yacht Club bring there T-37-class radio-controlled model sailboats to the pond next to MOHAI in South Lake Union. The boats are built from kits, are 37-inches long with control of both sails and rudder. For about $400 kits can be purchased. Saturday there were more than 20 races four hours.
