Snow geese flock to Pacific Northwest

Snow geese look for a spot to set down in a farmer's field on the north side of Fir Island in Skagit Valley. The birds are returning to the Skagit and North Puget Sound from their breeding grounds on Siberia's Wrangel Island and mainland Siberia. This field is on Moore Road and has an estimated 3,000 geese.
