An 18-acre fire burns on Mount Si in North Bend Sunday July 28, 2013. The fire, called the 444th Fire, is near but not threatening homes, so no one has been evacuated. Saturday, two helicopters dumped water on the fire to bring the heat down to make it a little easier for ground crews to fight the fire up close. About 80 firefighters are working the fire, which is made more difficult by the steep and rocky cliffs on the mountain.
