Looking through a window on the right side of the B-17, two of the plane's four engines can be seen. The engines are Wright model 1820 radial engines developing 1200HP. The WWII era B-17F is owned by the Collings Foundation. The Museum of Flight and Collings will have a B-17, B-24 and a P-51 on display at Boeing Field outside the Museum. Rides on the B-17 and other aircraft will be available to the public for a fee.
