Wheat farmers worry about GMOs

Eric Maier's son Zach is the fifth generation of dryland wheat farmer on the family's land near Ritzville. Zach, a recent grad of Washington State University, keeps watch on the fertilizing equipment as he moves across the land. He earned a bachelor's degree in crop and soil science from WSU in 2012. The family raises non-GMO soft white wheat and is concerned how the discovery of some GMO wheat in Oregon will hurt sales to the Far East.
