Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center

Occupational therapist Sarah Niwa, left, with Mia Beatty, 7, center, and volunteer Diane Johnson, right, work together during a "hippotherapy" horseback-riding session at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Redmond. Mia Beatty has cerebral palsy. Her mother Christine Beatty says her daughter was once unable to sit up straight on a horse, but now only needs minimal support while riding. "Just to see her settled and strong is the most amazing change in Mia," Christine Beatty said.
