Landslide on Whidbey Island

A huge landslide in the Ledgewood neighborhood of Whidbey Island between Coupeville and Greenbank has damaged and threaten homes on the west side of the island. Residents were being evacuated on Wednesday after a huge chunk of the hillside fell into the Puget Sound wiping out roadways and power lines. Tom O'Neill, who lives on the top of the bluff, came to the bottom of the landslide to check out his home above.
