Colton McCurdy, 3, of Puyallup, delights in the beeping sounds of Easter eggs while his mom Demarie McCurdy, right, looks on during the 36th Annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt at the Tukwila Community Center Saturday March 23, 2013. There were two more traditional egg hunts for the sighted and partially sighted children and then a hunt for special eggs that beep for children with low vision. The Washington chapter of the CenturyLink Pioneers provided the eggs, which are engineered with electronic circuit boards, batteries and telephone speakers to emit distinctive beeping sounds. Kids could then trade in the beeping eggs for candy-filled ones.
