After being closed to all but foot traffic since 2009, the Washington Department of Natural Resources has reopened the Reiter Foothills Forest to motorized vehicles including a new 4x4 challenge course which is being tested by local off road enthusiasts. There are three more test days; February 17, March 9 and March 24. More trail construction will take place this summer.
