Seattle Aquarium resident diver Chris Van Damme enters the octopus tank to weigh Rain, the resident male. Rain, and Squirt, the female giant Octopus, mated Thursday, Valentine's Day, at the aquarium with hundreds there to watch. Soon, both will be released into Puget Sound to complete their life cycles.
