Walter Stawicki, center talks peacefully with gun owners Brian Barnes, left, Rob Stratton, middle, both of Bellingham, and Eric Diesch, right of Puyallup at Westlake Park before the "StandUP Washington" rally and march Sunday. Barnes and Stratton are associated with gun rights group Open Carry, and Diesch is pro-gun rights, but advocates for mental health testing as part of a background check to purchase a gun. Stawicki's son, Ian, shot and killed six people, including himself, after opening fire at Cafe Racer in May.
