Bill Roberts gets his haircut by Carol LaTorre at Louie's Barber Shop in Crown Hill recently. LaTorre has been cutting men's hair for 42 years at the shop started by her father, Louie LaTorre. "I leave better looking than when I come in. She is very gentle compared to her father," said Roberts. Louie was known by his long-time customers as having a rough, but loving character. Carol has carried on her father's legacy by taking over the shop.
