Gary Faigin checks his portrait of model Arika Gloud during the 13th annual Drawing Jam at the Gage Academy of Art on Capitol Hill Saturday. The all-day, 12-hour event from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. drew more than 2,000 artists from novice to professionals. Faigin is the Gage atelier instructor and artistic director and led this studio session demonstrating his techniques.
