Becca Phillips talks with a mother and son, Yvette Shegrud and Maxwell Taylor Morlan, at a shelter in the basement of Seattle City Hall on a recent cold, wet evening. Phillips, with The Salvation Army, talks with the homeless to assure they are getting the appropriate services they need. It was determined that Shegrud needed medical care and Phillips later transported Shegrud and her son to Harborview Medical Center.
