Confetti shoots onto the tracks to celebrate the Sounder's arrival at the Lakewood station for the first ride from the station to Tacoma at the opening ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. The ceremony celebrated the service to the Lakewood and South Tacoma stations, starting Monday, Oct. 8. Five trains will be operated during peak times.
