"Don't think you're getting out of it," said Betty Mak, right, to lion dancer Zachary Jackson of Snohomish before performing kung fu and a traditional lion and dragon dance with Mak Fai Washington Kung Fu Club at this year's DragonFest in Seattle Saturday July 14, 2012. The Kabuki performers on the bill before them were running late, and Jackson thought he might be able to get out of the tiring kung fu routine after carrying the 30-pound head in a strenuous dance. Mak, wife of Grandmaster Mak Hin Fai, founder of the club, told him otherwise. DragonFest continues at Hing Hay Park in the International District Sunday with a market, more cultural performances, international cuisine and activities.
