Bruce Lillquist, who once was a mechanic on the vintage Australian streetcars that ran along the waterfront, opens the door to the operator's compartment. The late Seattle Councilmember George Benson championed getting the streetcars that now reside in a South Seattle warehouse since their service was discontinued.
