Standing on the Elwha Rivers sediment delta, Mike McHenry, habitat biologist for the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe holds an invasive weed with Andy Ritchie hydrologist for the National Park Service with Rob Elofson, restoration director for the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe. Invasive weeds will be spreading across the delta along with the needed natural seedlings that are growing naturally and being planted.
