Even Rachel the Pig, the Pike Place Market's mascot, got involved in the renovation when she stopped an errant taxi from causing an estimated $80,000 damage to renovations. However, she had to receive repairs. Rachel is a popular spot for visitors to the market to have their photos taken. She's also a piggy bank.
