Gabriel, the two-year-old M'lute (Alaskan) Malamute dog of Brian Davis of Bothell, right, got a lot of attention Saturday April 21, 2012 at HuskyFest. HuskyFest is a part of the University of Washington's 150th anniversary celebration, and was held at the Seattle campus April 19-21. The event featured live music, tours, exhibits, and lectures around the campus. Davis is an alum, class of 1979, and said that the M'lute Malamute was used by the Inuits to guard and babysit their young. 'The white above their eyes was called the "Angel Eyes," Davis said, which is why he named his dog for an angel.
