Women and their children wait in a long line to be seen by Dr. Alan Kelley or a nurse, depending on their needs. The Puget Sound-based Medical Teams Worldwide, founded and directed by Kelley, partnered with Relief International and UN locals to provide primary care to refugees in the Upper Nile region of South Sudan from November 14 to 19, 2011. Refugees were massing in Doro, a small village, due to North Sudan's bombing of the Blue and Upper Nile regions. As word about a clinic got out, more and more showed up for treatment.
