Massive Landslide Along Route 410

Kathy Callahan looks out the kitchen window of her friends' now condemned home west of Naches on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 along SR 410. The home was raised at least 15 feet along with its garage (seen through window) and a separate neighboring home. Callahan was helping the Simmons family take the most important possessions out of the home under escort because the two homes were in a treacherous area, about 100 yards from being completely demolished by the slide.
