Bob Donegan stands amidst a treasure trove of history in the form of Ivar Haglund's possessions. The photograph he holds, of Ivar as a young boy growing up in West Seattle, is among the artifacts that Haglund kept, for no particular use but always good to have. Donegan, like his partners are amazed by the apparent discovery of an underwater billboard Haglund is thought to have anchored to the bottom of Puget Sound.
